Everything in the game operates.
What does not
Windowed mode, but it can be emulated with "wine explorer /desktop=ragnarok,1024x768 ragexe 1rag1" command line.
Cursor movement and clicking are extremely slow, playing the game in crucial situations which require quick action and quick clicking is not advisable.
Very small glitch which makes some text areas (which I guess have transparent backgrounds to display the texture beneath it) result in making the texture underneath transparent as well, resulting in a clear rectangle with text in the middle and no contrasting texture beneath for easy reading. Can be annoying with black text and a dark forest being on the gamer's screen, for example.
What was not tested
All aspects of the game appear to operate correctly. As the engine all takes place in the one window, it is fairly unlikely that anything will not work within the game.
All that appears which could take place are optimisations to the polling rate of the mouse/clicks, faster drawing of the graphics, and repairing the "Wrong surface type for locking" problem with the current code. Other than that, it appears to work perfectly.

You need vcrun2008 for gameplay work. If you execute this without vcrun2008, your instalation can be corrupt (the cause is unknow).
(This does not apply to openpatcher).
Install wine gecko package (the package name varies according with your distribution). you can optionally install ie6 with winetricks instead of wine gecko package. Both work well.
Download this file and add to wine registry:
$ regedit boost.reg
(The performance gain is high.)
