On: OpenSuSE 10.3 x86-64
Tested: Reason 4.0.1(build 973)
Initial install of Reason4 demo for Windows first fails looking for control surfaces. On reinstallation clicking take me to preferences page starts the app. App works sufficiently to understand/observe its operation but not for normal use. Quick inspection indicates most functions work as expected.
Menu problem reported by others present alt+arrow work around works.
What does not
Playback is slow and sound is not synchonous with display (nb: fatal for this kind of application). Performing tasks while music playing noticeably impacts playback.
Program crashes for no apparent reason, throws error dialog boxes. Just now it crashed while I was browsing thor patches.
Running it in a virtual workspace through winecfg did not seem to make any difference.
Without crashes would rate bronze plus/silver minus.
