What works
Using XQuartz rather than X.org Installer, with exceptions. Installing on the latest wine is not possible at all. Installer segfaults. This can be hacked around, by using an older wine, like 1.2.2, and pre-creating the default directory: mkdir -p ~/.wine/drive_c/Games/Electronic\ Arts/Dark\ Age\ of\ Camelot/ Patcher works, but graphics of progress bars and buttons on the installer are blinking between the custom graphics and windows defaults. Renderer creation will fail, unless "simulate virtual desktop" is on. Character creation works perfectly, game loads up without any glitches and runs pretty ok, could be a bit smoother though.
What does not
Reflective water, custom installation dirs.
Workarounds
What was not tested
Client usability in RvR or bigger PvE raids.
Hardware tested

Additional Comments
DAoC Portal works as well, as long as you install dotnet20 with winetricks. Admin note: rating changed to conform to the rating definitions.

This is not a Wine bug, it is a fglrx bug. Please do not open a bug for this, it will just be closed.
