Installation works fine. Nicelly the package contains the Visual Basic 6 Virtual Machine Runtime Library (msvbvm60.dll), avoiding the needing to download it. Creating projects, adding movies. Saving and loading project files. Encoding process works fine, but you need to save to a ISO file in the Preferences dialog box. The log's files are legible.
What does not
Direct burning to a DVD after encoding process, since WINE doesn't support the I/O acess from a windows program to a DVD burner. Any DVD burners are viewed from the program as only a simple DVD player drive. However, this can be bypassed, just save the encoding project as a ISO file, then open the project folder and burn it using a native linux burning program. (K3b, Gnome DVD creator,...)
What was not tested
Advanced authoring like adding subtitles, external audio files, but I think that should work too.
Don't forget to encode any project to a ISO file, then just burn using a linux native burning application.
