All of the game features work; the training videos, flight simulation, and flight-recorder/playback. Graphics can be set to maximum 1024x768 if your XWindow supports that resolution. Keyboard controls work correctly during flight. Mouse input works correctly for everything except flight. See below. A Joystick and throttle controller works correctly. Throttle can be controlled by keyboard or controller alternately during flight. Whichever one is activated stays in control until the other is activated.
What does not
Using a mouse for flight controls does not work. The controls lock up. You need a joystick for flight but you will still need to use the mouse for many things other than flying.
What was not tested
As far as I know, there are special features of the Nvidia graphics board that can be set separately from an application to change the on-board anti-aliasing performed by the hardware. I have not tested to see if this could be done on a Linux system to improve on the basic 3D rendering. It does work for FA-18 on a native Windows system using Nvidias' utility program.
If it weren't for the failure of using mouse controls during flight, I would rate this app; platinum. As it is, most serious flightsim/aircombat fans will want to use the joystick anyway.
