What works

Playing the game, at least through the first area into the first dungeon.  Launching and joining a multi-player session.

What does not

The quest log locks the game up.  This may be an issue with the old install I have, but I doubt it.

Workarounds

What was not tested

Installation or patching to 1.4 (game was installed and patched with anolder wine version).
In-depth gameplay.  I intend to play my way through the game slowly over the next month or two.  If I am able to complete the game under wine without major issues I will update my rating to Gold.

Additional Comments

NoCD crack in use. Patches necessary for the game to render correctly. See bug associated with this game for an updated patch against wine 1.5.2. Also the following dirty hack is needed (at least for me) for time indicator and health bars to render correctly: --- wine-1.5.2-pp/dlls/ddraw/surface.c 2012-05-02 22:08:33.963470253 -0500 +++ wine-1.5.2/dlls/ddraw/surface.c 2012-05-05 03:02:36.950766465 -0500 @@ -4009,6 +4009,18 @@ src->wined3d_surface, rsrc, flags, NULL, WINED3D_TEXF_POINT); if (SUCCEEDED(hr) && (This->surface_desc.ddsCaps.dwCaps & DDSCAPS_FRONTBUFFER)) hr = ddraw_surface_update_frontbuffer(This, &dst_rect, FALSE); + /* + * Enter dirty hack for Pool of Radiance 2 time indicator and health bars. + * The co-ordinates below are a static address of one of the textures drawn near + * the bottom of the screen.
