What does not
There are graphical glitches, for example all characters become invisible when standing still.
What was not tested
Playing for more than 5 minutes.
However, these graphical glitches are also happening on a Microsoft Windows XP (and above) installation. They are caused by the game itself (it seems like it was implemented against a buggy or quite old version of DirectDraw). There is a guide available to use the Microsoft Application Compatibility Toolkit to force an "emulation" mode in DirectDraw which makes these graphical glitches disappear. However I was unsuccessful in getting the Toolkit to install (it requires the .NET Framework 3.5) or run (copying it from a Microsoft Windows XP installation). By copying it I could get it to run, but when launching PoR it just froze. Guide: http://www.sorcerers.net/community/index.php?threads/for-those-with-invisible-characters-models-skeleton-problems.54664/ There is a second possibility, using the ddwrapper library to enable emulation, but for me the game crashes with this library before the intro is shown. ddwrapper: http://bitpatch.com/ddwrapper.html Basically the game works, however it is just "buggy" so that it can not work even on modern Windows systems without hacks.
