Rational Rose

What works

As in my Feb 2010 test on Fedora 12 I tried using the wine installer GUI for installing Rose but it failed (no error message) but was able to use the wine command to invoke the Rose installer.  This time the installer run to completion although the same messages as in Feb 2010 were displayed in the terminal

The installation process created the appropriate menu items on the Wine menu which does properly run Rose.

I was able to load model files and did a cursory check of functionality which all seemed to work.

With one exception (see next section) all of the items reported under "What does not work" in Feb 2010 now appears to work.

What does not

The vertical diagram tool bar had to be detached to be able to see all the tool buttons (all diagram types).
