My system: -CPU:AMD Athlon 64 X2 4400+ @ 2,3GHZ -VGA:nVidia 9600 GT OC 512MB -RAM:GeIL Ultra DDRII 2GB/800 (2 x 1GB) I used this winepatch: -http://bugs2.winehq.org/attachment.cgi?id=27310 -http://bugs2.winehq.org/attachment.cgi?id=25097 I used this winetricks: -d3dx9 d3dx9_26 d3dx9_28 d3dx9_31 d3dx9_35 d3dx9_36 d3dx9_42 d3dx10 d3dxof devenum dinput8 directmusic directplay directx9 dmsynth fontsmooth-rgb quertz vcrun2005 nocrashdialog You have to start demo with WINEFORCEMOUSEWARP=yes Demo works beautiful without any problems. All missions works and loading is very fast. On 1920x1080 high I have between 6 to 20FPS+. I have played the full version of Crysis on Windows before on this computer. The performance could be a little better on Windows. But I'm sure it wasn't more than 24FPS+.

To get the game to start, make sure the following registry key is set:
HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Wine\Direct3D\UseGLSL = enabled
In winecfg, set the Windows version to “Windows XP”,
and in the audio tab, “Hardware Acceleration” to
“Emulation” and check “Driver Emulation”.
You will need to put d3dx9_34.dll and xinput1_3.dll
in ${WINEPREFIX}/drive_c/windows/system32/.
