What works
Playing chess on FICS, timeseal, sounds, chat, most things.
What does not
Application becomes non-responsive after analyzing a game(after it finishes analyzing stays non-responsive) and needs to be killed. For me that's the most important feature in BabasChess that is missing from native clients and too bad it doesn't work. Tried both with the Crafty engine that ships with Babas and the latest version of Stockfish. Most vector graphics pieces don't work either. Only the Winboard pieces work.

"It seems that you must choose "everyone" (Who can use this programm at setup window) and NOT "just me". If you choose "just me" then babaschess crash and you have to do a new installation of babaschess."
I have found the zip packages to to best. You can find them on the download page (http://www.babaschess.net/download.asp) towards the middle.
I tend to turn off the emoticons in the program.
