Installation of the WinXP executable of BabasChess 4.0 "SetupBabasChess_4_0_XP.exe".
What does not
What was not tested
This Linux distribution has Wine 1.6.2 in its standard repository, and I have installed this "standard Wine" without any special tweaks or enhancements - it works in WinXP mode by default, and I didn't modify anything. Linux Mint 17 is based on Ubuntu 14.04 LTS, so those users should get the same positive experience!

One of the users mentions
"It seems that you must choose "everyone" (Who can use this programm at setup window) and NOT "just me". If you choose "just me" then babaschess crash and you have to do a new installation of babaschess."
I have found the zip packages to to best. You can find them on the download page (http://www.babaschess.net/download.asp) towards the middle.
I tend to turn off the emoticons in the program.
