What works

I installed it by typing:
wine wordpro-setup.exe (whatever it's called)

I found it in the /home/yourname/wine folder(show hidden files first).

I then accessed the Mandriva Start menu editor by right-clicking the Start menu, made a copy of one of the entries, then edited it to point to wordpro. So the command text box reads: wine "C:\Program Files\Wordpro\wordpro.exe" just like in Windows.

Once I opened wordpro, I found that it could only read files if the filename had no spaces. I found that wavepad & wordpro didn't show their fonts properly, so I copied all the Sans/Serif fonts from the C:\windows\fonts folder in the Windows partition to the corresponding .wine folder.

I found that to get wordpro to work properly when it started, I had to open a new document, then I could open a wordpro file. To open another wordpro file, I had to open another wordpro & repeat the same thing. Even then it wasn't always stable.

One great thing about wordpro is that you could see 2 different parts of a document on the screen. I found this could be done in openoffice using the Window menu to create a new window.

To make the unordered bullets work correctly, you need to download and copy the `wingdings.ttf` fonts into the "c:\windows\fonts" directory:

1. Download `wingdings.ttf` TrueType font

2. If wine is installed in `$HOME/.wine`directory, run command:

   $ mkdir $HOME/.wine/drive_c/windows/fonts/
   $ cp wingdings.ttf $HOME/.wine/drive_c/windows/fonts/
