HowTo / Notes

HOWTO configure wine for otwincfg
  1. Install wine
  2. Copy mfc42.dll from a windows installation (c:\windows\system32 folder) to the wine system 32 folder. (in my case: /username/.wine/drive_c/windows/system32 )
  3. Create a folder and copy otwincfg.exe (/username/.wine/drive_c/program files/otwincfg/otwincfg.exe )
  4. Configure the serial port: ln -s /dev/ttyS0 com1
  5. In a terminal, execute the following command: wine "c:\program files\otwincfg\otwincfg.exe"
