What works
The installation works fine though the progress bar sticks at 100% all the way through.
Fullscreen works fine (in Ubuntu 8.04, 7.10 had issues)
Movie playback seemed fine.
Saving and loading work.
The game is mostly playable (see what does not work).
Sound works.
What does not
Shadows look *really* wierd.
Particles may not work, it's a bit difficult to tell (they seem too transparent).
The mouse is erratic and jerky, which made the game unplayable for me - doesn't mean everyone though.

I'm bumping the game too silver because of the mouse behavior. This might be a bit harsh though.
