Using -novideo and native 'dinput' libraries in winecfg I have tested the following succesfully:
- Single player race
- Versus player race with player 2 using a USB Joystick.
Both seem to work just fine, though the USB Joystick works for racing but not so well for navigating the menus. Nothing serious though, might as well be a problem with the USB controller itself.
What does not
Starting the game without using the above mentioned fixes.
What was not tested
Time Trial, Finishing a campaign, building a car.
I created an icon for the game in a higher res if anyone else is tired of seeing a 16x16 icon scaled up in their app menu. http://i.imgur.com/hE4wDZy.png
