If you copy over mscorre.dll and unicows.dll from an existing windows installation, you can get an error message that says "Can't connect to Zune MarketPlace. Make sure no other instances of the Zune software are running, and then try again.".
Coppied some registry files from a real instalation, used windows xp mode, and I have iexplore and gecko configured, but I don't know that that maters.
