What works
TurboCAD v14 Pro installs normally.
What does not
TurboCAD v14 Pro does not start. Trying to start TurboCAD from a command line with wine "C:\Program Files\IMSIDesign\TCWP14\Program\Tcw14.exe" produces this result.
err:ole:TLB_ReadTypeLib Loading of typelib L"C:\\Program Files\\IMSIDesign\\TCWP14\\Program\\IMSICTRL.TLB" failed with error 2
Workarounds
What was not tested
This install of Wine used all builtin DLLs. I tried it before with the same version of Wine, but replacing kernel32.dll, gdi32.dll, user32.dll, ntdll.dll with those dlls from Windows XP and setting those up as overrides. With this, none of the Wine apps such as "Configurator" would run with this setup. Wine would not load with an error on ntdll.dll. The Wine Users guide is confusing in what to do with these 4 dlls. The section on DLL Overrides says that it's not possible to run an application on some builtin DLLs and names these 4. Then, it says there are four DLLs you should never try to use the native (WinXP) versions of and names these 4 DLLs. Which is it? Use the builtin (non-native) vesions of these DLLs, or use the native versions?
TurboCAD wouldn't start so no testing done on that.

Additional Comments
My Linux distribution is Mandriva 2008.1 Spring x86_64. That distro is not on the pull down list. Any suggestions why IMSICTRL.TLB won't load?
