Installation (unchecked all extra options like directx and windows live games).
What does not
Games for Windows Live.
What was not tested
Saving games (Games for Windows Live).
Installer ran through. The text was jibberish, tried installing winetricks allfonts, but that didn't fix it. It seems the installer may be Russian? There is an option to select English during installation. I unchecked all options presented to me after the installation (that would be install directx, windows live and something else I didn't recognize). Install xlive.dll through winetricks. Install msxml3.dll through winetricks. Install directx9 through winetricks. This last step is a little strange, but ends up working. The application was calling alot of ieframe, so I installed ie8 through winetricks. Launching the startup.exe now crashed, so I uninstalled ie8 (using windows uninstaller). Not only is the launch screen back to normal, you can now click on the green leaf to actually start the game. Performance is *excellent*, but you can't save because of Games for Windows Live. I haven't figured that one out yet.
