You need to make sure that the cd is mounted in order to play. Make sure there is a drive mapping to the cdrom. To prevent the kids from ruining the cdrom, I coppied the cd to an iso file, and put an entry in fstab so that the iso image would be mounted as a cdrom. This could be done manually like this ( if you dont want to modify /etc/fstab) : sudo mkdir /media/cdrom3 sudo mount -t iso9660 -o loop /media/cdrom3 /home/software/nemo/nemo_uwf.iso Then go to configure wine, and map a drive to /media/cdrom3 Once done, double click on the cd rom icon on the desktop, and double click autorun.exe to install. I chose the full install option (default option ).
