There is a Linux Native version of Minecraft available, it is recommended that you use it instead.

Minecraft Bedrock edition is a version of minecraft rewrited in C++ for all platforms.
The windows 10 edition is avaliable only on the microsoft store.
The windows 10 edition offers cross play with all other minecraft bedrock edition platforms.
