DVD Decrypter is a free tool that allows you to decrypt and copy DVDs to your PC's hard disk using decryption of the CSS on retail DVDs. It will even remove the need to play the movie on a specific regioned DVD player. From there you can watch them with the likes of WinDVD and PowerDVD, you can write them back to any kind of DVD media or you can convert them to a smaller format (e.g. DivX, H.264, VCD) for burning onto a CD.

In addition, DVD Decrypter can be used to remove unwanted parts of movies like special features, interviews and company splash logos using the IFO mode. In the end, the decrypted DVD can be output in a video DVD file structure or even as an ISO image that can be burnt directly to disc.
